Based on my experience, I offer three types of service.

R&D Management Consulting  As a hands-on executive, I have significant experience as a well grounded manager of domestic and international research laboratories. So, if you are looking for advice and support for R&D management functions including defining and trouble-shooting R&D Lab Operations, I can offer a valuable perspective. As a direct contributor, project leader, manager, director, and vice-president, I have been through the entire life cycle of R&D including establishing technology strategies, building R&D workforces, developing and launching new products….and the reverse process of re-crafting the strategy, selecting the surviving projects, downsizing the workforce, out placing staff, and closing the facility.

HCI Technology Innovation and Evaluation  I have been highly focused on human/computer interaction for the past 16 years and can offer advice and support for teams working in the areas listed below. If you have projects or teams working in these areas and would like another perspective, or advice and guidance on their strategy and execution, I have an experience base that can be helpful and save you time and money. Also, as an innovator, I’ve conducted and participated in many concept ideation sessions, inventing sessions, usability design reviews, and technology reviews and can help you conduct successful sessions as well.

Interaction Design Strategy Development  As a participant in the human/computer interaction revolution during the past 30 years, I am very interested in the emerging field of Rich Internet Applications and Social Networks. If you want to move your web site from a simulated brochure to a more interactive experience… so that you can improve your customer engagement and close rate, then I can help you with a comprehensive approach that represents best practices in the industry.
